This website (niramfoods.co.uk) is operated by Minu Pania, trading as Niram Foods ("we", "us", or "our"), as a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom.

  • Principal Trading Address: Peterborough, PE2 8EB, United Kingdom.
  • Local Authority Food Registration: Officially registered as a Food Business with Peterborough City Council Environmental Health pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 852/2004.
  • Direct Inquiries: niramfoods@gmail.com | Telephone: 07818 923839.

2. Orders, Dispatch & Minimum Order Threshold

2.1. Minimum Order Spend: To cover the ecological and logistical cost of temperature-controlled, insulated parcel delivery (utilizing biodegradable British wool liners and food-grade chill packs), our minimum order threshold for nationwide courier dispatch is £50.00 (excluding shipping charges), unless expressly modified during special promotions.

2.2. Click & Collect: Customers choosing local collection from our Peterborough kitchen atelier are exempt from the £50.00 minimum spend requirement.

2.3. Dispatch Schedules: To safeguard the microbiological freshness of our food and eliminate weekend depot storage, orders containing ready-to-eat or perishable provisions are dispatched on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only via tracked overnight courier.

3. Allergen Notice & Customer Responsibility

All 14 statutory allergens recognized under UK Food Law (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 retained in UK law and The Food Information Regulations 2014) are declared on our digital menu and physical item labels.

MANDATORY PRE-PURCHASE ALLERGEN CONSULTATION: If you or anyone you are purchasing for suffers from a food allergy, hypersensitivity, or intolerance, you must contact our kitchen team directly at niramfoods@gmail.com prior to concluding your order.

4. Perishable Goods & Cancellation Exemption (UK Law)

STATUTORY CANCELLATION NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATIONS 2013:
Under Regulation 28(1)(e) of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard statutory 14-day right of cancellation/return does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (including prepared ready-to-eat culinary feasts and freshly packed provisions). Once order preparation has commenced at our Peterborough kitchen, cancellations cannot be accepted.

4.1. Sealed Shelf Foods: In accordance with Regulation 28(3)(a), sealed ambient food items (simmer sauces, grain pots, infused oils) cannot be returned once unsealed or opened by the customer for reasons of health protection and food hygiene.

4.2. Damaged or Compromised Goods: If your order arrives compromised, damaged in transit, or outside acceptable thermal limits, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence at niramfoods@gmail.com. We will promptly issue a replacement or refund.

5. Pricing & Payment Security

All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include UK VAT where legally applicable. Payment is processed over encrypted 256-bit SSL connections via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateways (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
